Employment and Education are searching out their runners, getting the sweatbands at the ready and compiling the perfect running playlist to participate in the Herald Sun’s Run for the Kids.
The Melbourne event takes place on 20 March with tens of thousands of people participating each year; including runners, families, kids and large corporate groups – with millions of dollars being raised.
Michael Mancuso, Director at Employment and Education said “Run for the Kids is just such a fantastic cause and we really wanted to be a part of it. This event raises money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal and a significant portion of all entry fees go directly to the charity…and to donate a contribution feels great.”
The event provides runners with a choice of two courses, with both tracks starting and ending in King’s Domain at the Royal Botanic Gardens. Options include a 5K and a 16K course running from the Domain Tunnel and Bolte Bridge, up along the Docklands track to the Waterfront Promenade.
Training will commence ASAP for the Employment and Education team, with three members tackling the 16K route and fifteen members enduring the 5K course.
